Demo

Throughout the years, as an actress and performance artist, I have created many performances, short ones as well as evening filling solo shows. Many pieces were completely improvised and never documented. Below you can see black and white pictures of a short performance art piece called ‘Alive’ and underneath that, pictures of an evening filling theatre show, called ‘Cheese & Pickle’, which was largely improvised.

Please also check out my films page for more of my work as an actress and performance artist, showcasing art films, as well as short films. If you like listening to original stories, head over to my story podcast.

Original Theatre Show in the Fringe Edinburgh

How desperate can it get 2011

How desperate can it get was a four woman original theatre show, we created ourselves based on the characters of ‘The Women of Troy’ by Euripides. Each of the women wrote their own part with no to little previous experience. I both directed, as well as performed in the show. We premiered the theatre show originally in St. Ives and then took it to the Fringe in Edinburgh. Another special thing was, that we incorporated pieces of film we created, which was projected during certain segments of the show.

Theatre / Solo Shows

In collaboration with Ron East as my director, as an actress I created and performed two evening filling solo shows, called ‘Circus of Emotions’ and ‘Mind the Trap’, between 2003 and 2006. Both original theatre shows were played in London as well as in Hamburg, in English and in German.

I am always open to new collaborations with other artists and performers. Head over to my films page to check out more of my performance art and film work. You can also book me for workshops as well as storytelling evenings.
