Anja Kersten is a multi facetted artist as well as a life coach. She has been living and working in three different countries; Germany (her homeland), Cornwall, England and Galway, Ireland.
Over the years Anja Kersten has written more than 200 stories, musings and memoirs, both in English and in German. She has been blogging for over 12 years with over 500 posts (even though she decided to take them off the web and start afresh). Anja Kersten has created and performed five original, evening filling shows. She also has a podcast called ‘Dreamy Cappuccino’ with over 20 episodes. As a life coach Anja Kersten can call over 10 years of active coaching experience her own. Helping many people to express themselves more fully.
Anja Kersten’s two main passions throughout life have always been the arts and the psychological realms.
She started acting and writing at an early age. Later Anja Kersten studied Social Work, working with children from difficult backgrounds. She embarked on an additional training in Theatre & Education in Heidelberg. Inspired to take her acting to a more professional level, Anja Kersten moved to London for two years studying with Ron East at the School of Physical Theatre. Consequently she created two evening filling shows with Ron East as a director, which were performed both in English as well as in German.
From London she moved to Hamburg and lived there for seven years. During this time she did a further training in life coaching and started to coach business people regularly, learning to present themselves more authentically.
Her adventurous spirit brought Anja Kersten to Cornwall England, where she lived for seven years. Creating a lot of art films, a four women show, amongst many other things.
The past five years Anja Kersten has been living in Galway, Ireland. The past years she dove more into drawing and art.
Apart from her creative work, Anja Kersten has been and is very invested in understanding narcissistic abuse more in depth as well as healing from it. Her own experiences are invaluable, when it comes to helping others, coming more into their own and leaving toxicity behind.
For the time being Anja Kersten can be found in Portugal, the Algarve.
